Bike route open

LITTLE ROCK — Little Rock city workers are repairing Gill Street, one of the oldest roads along the city’s designated bike route from Murray Park to downtown. The road is expected to be closed through Wednesday. But the bike route is not blocked.

ActiveStyle had no trouble last week crossing Gill on North Cantrell Road to pedal below the Cantrell Road viaduct.

If those street names don’t ring your chimes, try this: You know that overpass on Cantrell just east of the turn that goes toward Cajun’s Wharf? The city bike route goes under that overpass, right? Well, it’s still open.
