Charges pending in fatal wreck

— Charges are pending against a driver involved in an accident that killed a bicyclist Sunday, police said.

Pat Booth, 64, will at least be charged with running a red light and could face a more serious count, said Little Rock Police Department Lt. Terry Hastings. The city attorney will review the case and make a determination likely by later this week, Hastings said.

Witnesses told investigators Booth was westbound on Cantrell Road in a 2000 Jeep Wrangler when she ran the red light at River Mountain Road and struck the northbound bicycle. The rider, 56-year-old Marilyn Fulper, was ejected from the bicycle and fell to the ground in the intersection. She was taken to Baptist Medical Center, where she died about 4 hours after the 9 a.m. wreck.

According to a collision report, Booth told police she didn't see the cyclist and that she "did not know what happened or where (the bicyclist) came from."
