Conway police seek man who robbed Centennial Bank

Police say they’re looking for a man who robbed a bank in Conway and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Conway Police Department said a man entered the Centennial Bank about 4:30 p.m. Monday and gave a teller a note indicating he had a weapon and demanding money. A police news release said that, after he was given some cash, the man left the bank and walked westward.

The man was described by police as a white male with a very tan complexion, in his late 20s or early 30s, around 6-foot-2 or 6-foot-3 and weighing 230 to 250 pounds. Police said he was balding and the hair remaining was cut very short, “almost shaved.” Officers said he was wearing a dark gray shirt with white writing on the front, blue plaid shorts and black tennis shoes.
