LITTLE ROCK — A Little Rock woman was killed Sunday morning when she was struck on her bicycle by a vehicle that police say ran a red light.
Marilyn Fulper-Smith, 56, of 9 Walnut Valley Drive was struck on the north side of Cantrell Road and River Mountain Road at 9:03 a.m. after a 2000 Jeep Wrangler driven by Patsy Booth of Little Rock ran a red light at the intersection, said Little Rock police spokesman Lt. Terry Hastings.
Fulper-Smith was taken to Baptist Medical Center where she died at 1:15 p.m. from injuries she suffered from the collision.
Hastings said the case will be given to the city attorney, but that Booth, whose age was not available, had not been charged with any crime.
