CARDINALS 7, NATURALS 6

SPRINGDALE - A day after wrapping up the Texas League North Division first-half title, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals looked utterly listless for seven innings against Springfield, then very impressive late.

The Naturals were down 7-0 after five innings and didn’t get a runner past second base in the first seven innings before rallying for six runs in the eighth in front of 3,855 at Arvest Ballpark.

Naturals starter Everett Teaford (6-3) gave up 6 runs on 10 hits over 31/3 innings.
