A Washington County sheriff’s office spokeswoman says a jailer who posed nude for a Playboy website has been put on administrative leave with pay while officials investigate to see if she violated department policy.
Spokeswoman Kelly Cantrell said 21-year-old Jessie Lunderby was put on leave Sunday.
Lunderby has said she has no regrets for her off-the-job activities.
Maj. Rick Hoyt of the sheriff’s office said the investigation would consider policies that include one barring “conduct unbecoming of an officer or employee of the department,” another requiring a sheriff’s office employee to get permission for off-duty work and one that forbids working in some specific types of jobs, “and one of those has to do with sexual conduct.”
