FAYETTEVILLE — A Washington County sheriff’s office spokesman says a jailer who posed nude for a Playboy website has been put on administrative leave with pay while officials investigate whether she violated department policy.
Spokesman Kelly Cantrell said 21-year-old Jessie Lunderby was put on leave Sunday.
Lunderby has said she has no regrets for her off-the-job activities.
Maj. Rick Hoyt of the sheriff’s office said the investigation would consider policies that include one barring “conduct unbecoming of an officer or employee of the department,” another requiring a sheriff’s office employee to obtain permission for off-duty work, another that forbids working in some specific types of jobs, “and one of those has to do with sexual conduct.”
