LITTLE ROCK — A dad of bookish bent had noticed the same dangerous tendency in his 10-year-old, so he asked the boy if he’d like a Kindle for his birthday.
“No, thanks,” said the boy.
“But why not?” Dad persisted. “You could read books on it!”
The young man still wasn’t interested. “I just like regular books,” he explained. “Books never need batteries.”
