MURFREESBORO, Ark. — Authorities have recovered the body of a 23-year-old who drowned while swimming in Lake Greeson.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office says Casey Calley of Murfreesboro disappeared in the lake Sunday afternoon while swimming with family. The sheriff’s office says Calley’s body was recovered by a Bowie County, Texas, dive team shortly before noon on Tuesday.
Sheriff Preston Glenn says Calley’s body was found very close to where he disappeared in Lake Greeson. Searchers used sonar to locate the body, and divers were then able to recover it.
Glenn says no autopsy will be performed.
