NEWPORT — The Arkansas State University-Newport’s Kids College will be Monday, July 19, through Friday, July 23, at the ASUNewport campus. Students will meet daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Many activities are planned for the children, with an assortment of “classes” ranging from nutrition, mathematics and science to renewable energy and crafts.
The cost this year for one week is $160. This includes snacks, lunch and all supplies. A limited number of scholarships are available, but application must be made by Friday, July 16.
Registration forms for Kids College are available at ASU-Newport in the Center for the Arts, Room 101; or call ASU-Newport at (870) 512-7898 to receive a form by mail or fax.
The form must be returned by mail to ASU-Newport, 7648 Victory Blvd., Newport, AR 72112, Attention: Kids College; or in person at the ASU-Newport Center for the Arts.
