EL DORADO — Authorities in El Dorado say a teenager was arrested after he allegedly pulled a gun on a city worker and stole a black pitbull from the city’s animal shelter.
Courtney L. Easter faces charges of aggravated robbery and possession of a firearm after the incident Tuesday. A city worker told police that the 19-year-old came into the shelter at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and asked to see the dogs.
According to police, Easter then pulled out a gun and said, “Let me get that dog.” He then left with the pitbull.
Easter was later arrested walking the dog down a nearby street.
