She was born on October 18, 1950, in Battle Creek, Michigan, daughter of the late Edgar Frederick Hinton, Jr. and Zella C. Gore Hinton. She was a loving housewife and mother, and a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband, Terry Bain; daughter, Lori A. Bain; son, Michael A. Bain (Angela); two grandchildren, Sydney Bain and Collin Bain, all of Little Rock; in-laws, Susan Gore of Fort Myers, Florida and Bruce Keivet of Sebring, Florida.

DOLORES JEWEL COLLINS, 76, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010. She was born September 29, 1933 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Floyd Ray and Jewel Pettitool Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Floyd Ray Davis, and her husband Mr. Vernon Winn. She was of the Assembly of God faith, and her favorite Scripture was the 23rd Psalm. She was a stay-at-home mom and loved her family, friends, church and the outdoors. Ms. Collins enjoyed laughing with others and traveling. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann Spradlin of Beebe and Judy Potts of Indiana; four sisters, Ellen Justice, Muriel Seymour, Gladys Biehslich and Joyce Thompson; two brothers, Jerry Davis and Johnny Davis; four grandchildren, Milissa Walker, Jonathan Spradlin, Robert Spradlin and Dianna Pryor; 10 great-grandchildren, Colby and Hunter Walker, Tara and Savanah Spradlin, Ashley, Nick, Haley and Logan Spradlin, and Katelyn and Emily Pryor.

THERESA DEUERLING, 79, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leo Deuerling; her children, Michael (Jackie) Deuerling, Daniel Deuerling all of Redfield, Ark., Anthony Deuerling of Sheridan, Barbara (Fred) Riba of Mabelvale, and Evelyn (Barry) Wideman of Sherwood; her brothers, Joe (Pat) Kirchner, Nick Kirchner, both of Little Rock; her sisters, Kay (Victor) Koch, Regina Koch, both of Illinois, and Rosie Schadler of Idaho; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. JANET SUE HALL, age 54, of Jacksonville died June 23, 2010at her home. She was born on May 29, 1956 in Kendallville, Ind. She was a member of Hardrider Biker Church in Jacksonville. She worked for Lomanco for 30 years where she has numerous friends.

WINSTON PENN WARDLAW, age 20, of Little Rock died June 23, 2010. Win was born on Good Friday, April 13, 1990. He was a graduate of Catholic High School for Boys where he was president of the student body in 2008, and where he received the Senior of the Year Award and the Unselfish Service Award. Win was alsoan Eagle Scout. After high school he attended Rhodes College in Memphis where he had completed his sophomore year and where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. This summer he served as a counselor at Camp Winnamocka. Win loved life, his family and friends and never met a stranger.

BENTON - Wanda Jean Rigsby Harris, age 78, of Benton passed away June 23, 2010. She was born October 20, 1931 to the late George and Lillie Burks Rigsby. Mrs. Harris was a nurse and worked at the Benton State Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Harris is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur Vernon Harris; daughter, Marilyn Petruk and three brothers, Raymond, Robert and J.C. Rigsby.

BENTON - Reverend Bob Huie, 78, of Benton “went home”Wednesday, June 23, 2010. He was born in Enloe, Texas, on January 16, 1932.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Thomas Huie and Sally Griffin Huie;sisters, Evelyn Allen and Melba Jordan; brothers, Donnie Huie and J.T. Huie.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Wanda Luna Huie; daughter, Jodi Feland; sons, Ed Huie, Barney Huie and Robin Huie; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Micah, Landon, Loren, Lindsey, Victoria, Rylee and Mason; siblings, Ann Millsap, Edsel Huie and Helen Maynard, and numerous nieces and nephews. Vernon, Arkansas, and Greg Green and his fiance Sherry Horton of North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Dustin and Kyle Green, Jimmy Kirk and his wife Natalie, Chris and Greg Green; five greatgrandchildren, Aubrey Henderson, Gabriel Green, Madalin and Hayden Kirk and Cayden Green; along with numerous nieces and nephews, her K-9 companion, Gadget, and a host of friends.

Family was everything to Susie; she enjoyed spending time with all of them. She was always there when help was needed for caring for her family as well as for others.

CONWAY - Jonathan Lee Hoffman, 20, of Conway, formerlyof Sherwood, passed away June 23, 2010, in Conway, Arkansas. He was born August 15, 1989, in Little Rock; he was the son of Gordan Hoffman and Kathy Cates Guthrie. Jonathan was a carpet restoration specialist for Langewalter Carpet Company, who will be remembered as a very hard worker, who loved his family and friends, and music.

LEOLA - Dewey George Luzader, 98, of Leola, Arkansas, died on June23, 2010. Dewey was born on April 25, 1912, at South Fork (Clark County) to John and Beulah Luzader. He was a member of Leola Missionary Church and was a 32 Degree Mason.He was employed in many various professions: Saw Mill Owner; Saw Mill Supt.; Plumber; Pipe fitter, and OTR truck driver for himself, his sons and for Hilbilt Equipment Co. of Benton. He was forced to retire from his truck driving job due to his age - 75! Because the insurance companies would no longer insure him. During WWII he worked in Defense Plants in Oakridge, Tenn.: Spokane, Wash.; and San Pedro, Calif. In 1947 he moved to “God’s Country” Leola, Ark., where he remained and was the oldest living resident there.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Anna Pearl Hall Luzader; one son, Dewey Wayne Luzader; two grandsons, Kent and Jacob Luzader; one granddaughter, Teri Shemwell; his parents; three brothers; and three sisters.

MONTICELLO - Ralph S. Martin, 72, of Monticello passed away Monday, June 21, 2010, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born October 1, 1937, in Smackover, Arkansas, to Joseph Martin and Myrtle Langley Barr. Ralph worked as a self-employed farmer. He was a master gardener, liked to hunt and fish, and was a very talented “Jack of all Trades.” Ralph was a wonderful husband, father, and papaw, and a gentleman who will be missed by family and friends. SHERIDAN - Frank Semelka Sr. of Sheridan, Arkansas, was born December 18, 1919, in Prague, Arkansas, the son of the late Anton and Louise Semelka. He was a member of Rhoden Hunting Club and was an avid outdoorsman. He had served 20 years in the United StatesNavy as a Chief Petty Officer Engineman and was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. After a brief stint as a logger, he retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal with 20 years of service. He was known for growing the “best” tomatoes in Grant County. Mr. Semelka was called home on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at his home at the age of 90.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Belle Hardin Semelka, a sonin-law, Bob Yancey, brothers, Louie Smith and Anton “Tony” Semelka; sisters, Helen McGinnis and Margie Brent and a step-granddaughter, Kelly Yancey. ARANSAS PASS, Texas - Charles Dwayne Huett Jr. of Aransas Pass, Texas, formerly of Austin, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dana and grandparents, Grace and Trieber Witcher. He is survived by daughter; Danielle; parents, Dorsey and Laurel Carnes; two sisters, Beverly Carnes and Connie Bates; brother, Heath Carnes; an aunt, Carrollee Witcher; grandmother, Ada Carnes and fiance, Michelle Davis and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
