Motorcycle crash, car wreck kill two

— Two people died and four were injured in two separate motor-vehicle accidents Thursday on Arkansas roads, according to preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality accident reports.

About 2:30 a.m., Doyle E. Coker, 44, was riding a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on the ramp from Arkansas 245 to Arkansas 549 in Texarkana when the motorcycle ran off the road, the report said. Coker’s passenger, Brandi S. Brown, 30, was thrown from the motorcycle and later died from injuries suffered in the crash, the report said.

Coker was taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas, with unknown injuries, the report said. Brown is from Texarkana, Texas, and Coker is from Texarkana, Ark.

Late Thursday night, a southbound 2005 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Michael McGee, 24, crossed the centerline on Arkansas 294 in Lonoke and struck a northbound 2002 Chevrolet pickup headon, a report said.

McGee’s passenger, Jolie Smith, 21, of Lonoke, died from injuries suffered in the collision, the report said. The driver of the pickup, Robert Ryan Wiley, 37; his passenger, Veronica Wiley, 38; andMcGee, all of Lonoke, were injured in the collision, the report said.

Veronica Wiley was taken by helicopter to Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. Robert Wiley was taken to North Metro Medical Center in Jacksonville. McGee was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock. Their conditions were not available Friday.
