WEDDINGS: AMANDA JO GRIMSLEY NICHOLAS RYAN BAKER

— Wedding vows were exchanged by Amanda Jo Grimsley and Nicholas Ryan Baker at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 19, in Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church. Deacon Larry Jegley officiated.

Jan and Doug Grimsley of Little Rock are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Ann and Fred Casavechia and the late Doris and Harold Grimsley, all of Little Rock.

The bridegroom is the son of Cecelia Glymp of Sherwood and James Baker of North Little Rock. He is the grandson of Betty and the late Wayne Christal of Sedalia, Mo., and Edith Baker of Benton.

Music was by organist Fred Graham and soloists Jennifer Boccarossa and Matt Lyon. Maria Casavechia attended the bride’s book. Candles were lighted by Nicholas Casavechia of Conway, cousin of the bride, and readings were by Hannah and Andy Loyd of Van Buren, also cousins of the bride.

The bride, given in marriage by her father and her son, Jack Henry Grimsley, wore a cathedral-length white vintage taffeta gown with a handmade flower stole. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies, hydrangeas, orchids and coffeeberry.

Maid of honor was Ashley Grimsley of Fayetteville, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jane Rojas of Woodside, N.Y.; Lindsie Williams Pyle of North Little Rock; Rhonda Corn of Redfield; and Becky Humes of Little Rock.

They wore black strapless taffeta gowns with a side sheath silhouette. Each carried a different flower included in the bride’s bouquet.

Bella Baker and Morgan Glymp, nieces of the bridegroom, were flower girls. Tyson Baker, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

Best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Nathan Baker of Sherwood. Groomsmen were Phillip Baker of Sherwood, brother of the bridegroom; John Vickers and Derek Chism, both of Benton; and the bride’s son.

Guests were seated by Alan Buckels and David Reunard, both of Little Rock, and Grayden Baker of Sherwood.

A reception followed at the church’s Allen Center, where tables were draped in black-and-white cloths and centered with contemporary arrangements of rhinestone studded black twigs, black rocks and silver beads.

The bride trained for her cosmetology license at Enoch’s School of Cosmetology. She is a cosmetologist at That French Salon in Little Rock.

The bridegroom attended Pulaski Vocational Technical School and is a plumbing apprentice for Ironclad Plumbing in Sherwood.

After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple will live in Little Rock.
