LITTLE ROCK — Bernardine and James Allen Brown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Branson. The couple were married June 25, 1960. Mrs. Brown is the former Bernardine Glover. Brown is a lawyer in private practice. They are the parents of Brian Allen Brown of Little Rock and Christy Silva of The Woodlands, Texas. The couple have two grandchildren.

SEARCY - Betty and Jim Lankford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family get-together. The couple were married June 18, 1960. Mrs. Lankford, the former Betty Smith, is a retired teacher. Smith is a teacher and retired circuit clerk. They are the parents of Jim Lankford Jr. and Mary Ann Bolin, both of Searcy. The couple have three grandchildren.

Glenda and Marshall Gazette of Little Rock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married July 1, 1960. Mrs. Gazette is the former Glenda Fleming. Both are retired. They are the parents of Owen Gazette of Little Rock and Gale Spencer of Poplar Bluff, Mo. The couple have five grandchildren.

Joyce and Joe Knoedl of Little Rock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 29, 1960. Mrs. Knoedl is the former Joyce Shadrick. Knoedl is the retired owner of Knoedl Tile Co. They are the parents of Brent Knoedl and Scott Knoedl, both of Little Rock, and Jeff Knoedl of Maumelle. The couple have two grandchildren.

MALVERN - Mary and Dorman Yancey have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 24, 1950. Mrs. Yancey is the former Mary Jordan. Both are retired. They are the parents of Jackie Smith and Terri Javert, both of Little Rock; Steven Yancey of Malvern; Barry Yancey of Newport; Abbie Hogan of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Bruce Yancey of Hot Springs. The couple have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Francis and Virginia Beck of Little Rock have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 17, 1950. Mrs. Beck, the former Virginia Uekman, is a retired bookkeeper. Beck is a retired sheet metal mechanic. They are the parents of Raymond Beck of Chula Vista, Calif.; Janis Winchester of Ramona, Calif.; Brenda Schrock of Alexander; and Dr. David Beck of Springdale. The couple have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

ARKADELPHIA - Damon and Royce Robbins will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. July 11 at First Presbyterian Church in Gurdon. The couple were married July 6, 1960. Mrs. Robbins, the former Royce Lee Carr, retired from JC Penney Co. Robbins is retired from Reynolds Metals and Robbins Heating and Air. They are the parents of Damona Fisher of Little Rock, Darin Robbins of Okolona and Deonna Whatley of Little Rock. The couple have 3 grandchildren.

Martha and Ted Bland of Jacksonville have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married June 25, 1960. Mrs. Bland, the former Martha Willoughby, retired from civil service at Little Rock Air Force Base. Bland retired as a master sergeant from the Air Force and also retired from Target and as superintendent of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville. They are the parents of Michael Bland of Conway and Debbie Kelly of Jacksonville. The couple have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

HOT SPRINGS - Hubert and Laura Jones celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 6 with a family dinner. The couple were married June 6, 1960. Mrs. Jones is the former Laura Carver. They are the parents of Darla Latimer of Greenbrier. The couple have two grandchildren.

Olivia and Jerry Kirkpatrick of Mabelvale will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a fall trip to the Gulf Coast. The couple were married June 24, 1960. Mrs. Kirkpatrick, the former Olivia Hogue, is retired from Lucent Technology. Kirkpatrick is retired from Balch Oldsmobile. They are the parents of Sherry Rhodes of Mabelvale, Doug Kirkpatrick of Vilonia and Todd Kirkpatrick of Benton. The couple have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
