LR man arrested in fatal shooting

— A man was arrested Sunday morning in a fatal shooting that happened hours earlier in front of a Little Rock auto-service business, police said.

Tremayne Washington, 31, of Little Rock was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder in the shooting in front of the Quick Lube & Oil Change at 5620 Asher Ave., said officer Michelle Hill, a Little Rock police spokesman.

The shooting happened about 3:30 a.m., Hill said. Washington was arrested at 6:45 a.m. at Little Rock police headquarters.

Hill said she did not have any further details, including any information about the victim or what led to the shooting.

Washington was being held Sunday in the Pulaski County jail. Bail had not been set.
