Intruders cut man, rape woman, flee

— Garland County sheriff’s investigators were searching Monday for three men who broke into a woman’s home, raped her and stabbed a man visiting the residence.

The attack took place around 2:40 a.m. Friday at a home on Sequoyah Loop.

The stabbing victim, Jacob Louton, told deputies that the men came in through the front door. All three wore bandanas over their faces, and at least one had a handgun, he said.

Louton told deputies that the attackers put a pillowcase over Louton’s head and demanded money and drugs, he said. After ransacking the house, one of them stabbed Louton in the chest, according to sheriff reports.

The men also put a pillowcase over the woman’s head before sexually assaulting her with an object and hitting her face and head, the reports state.

Louton and the woman told deputies that the men put them in the back seat of Louton’s extended cab truck and drove them to a spot on Discovery Bay. The woman’s hands and feet were tied, she said. Two of the attackers were in the truck and the third drove behind in another vehicle, according to the reports.

After hearing gunshots and the men driving off in their own vehicle, the woman managed to loosen her hands and feet. She then drove herself and Louton to the hospital.
