TEXARKANA A Texarkana man charged with capital murder in the beating deaths of his mother and stepfather has been found mentally unfit for trial.
It’s the second time 39-year-old Bronson Scoggins has been found unfit for trial in the August 2008 deaths of Al and Sandra Walsh in their Texarkana home. Judge Joe Griffin entered the order last week after Scoggins’ attorney and prosecutors introduced a mental status evaluation indicating Scoggins had regressed further into psychosis.
The court had been told earlier that Scoggins had improved and was fit for trial — but the latest report says his condition has deteriorated.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Carlton Jones says Scoggins’ case will be reviewed every six months and he will stand trial if found fit.

I just wonder how many people that commit murder or any other kind of serious offence is actually sain and can act really insain. It shouldnt matter, if they committed a crime they should be put in jail.
