Arkansas unemployment rate stays at 7.6%

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas’ unemployment rate remained unchanged at 7.6 percent in January, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said Wednesday.
Based on revisions of the monthly unemployment rates for the past year, Arkansas’ joblessness rate has been at 7.6 percent since November and has risen only 0.3 percentage points since June.
Arkansas’ rate is well below the national rate of 9.7 percent.
