GASSVILLE A burglar caught inside the Simply Beautiful Salon in Gassville got some personal service from the owner, who disarmed the suspect and held him for sheriff’s deputies.
Eighteen-year-old Joshua Ray Theobald of Gassville is charged with burglary and other counts for the alleged break-in early Monday morning.
The Baxter County Sheriff’s Department says salon owner Kenneth Chism responded to an alarm at the business at 3:22 a.m. and caught Theobald leaving the Simply Beautiful Salon.
Deputies arrived to find Chism detaining Theobald. The sheriff’s office says Theobald had $225 in cash in his possession and that Chism had taken a BB pistol from the suspect.
Investigators say Theobald may have had an accomplice.
