Two men charged in the deaths of five people in Pearcy have pleaded not guilty to capital murder and other felony counts.
Samuel Lee Conway and Jeremy Pickney entered the pleas Monday during a Garland County Circuit Court hearing in Hot Springs.
Authorities found Edward Earl Gentry Sr. dead at a Pearcy residence and the bodies of Edward Earl Gentry Jr.; Pam Gentry; Jeremy Robert Gentry and Kristyn N. Warneke in a burned mobile home next door on Nov. 12.
An informant told police that Pickney tried to sell expensive wheel rims and flat-screen televisions belonging to the victims the day after the killings.
Garland County prosecuting attorney Joe Graham said Tuesday no trial date has been set.
An attorney for the Garland County public defender’s office wasn’t available for comment.
