LITTLE ROCK A 21-year-old Sherwood man was arrested today in connection with a 2007 homicide in North Little Rock.
Kris Anthony Thomas is facing charges of capital murder and aggravated robbery in the Dec. 23, 2007 shooting death of 26-year-old Larry Jones Jr.
North Little Rock Police Department officers arrested Thomas about 9:30 a.m. at his residence. He was questioned by detectives and later booked into the Pulaski County Detention Facility. Bond has not been set.
Jones was shot at 4805 Rogers St. in what police at the time called a home-intrusion robbery. He was found in the grass near the intersection of Prothro and Rogers Streets, where he collapsed after fleeing the residence.
Jones was later pronounced dead at Baptist Health Medical Center.
It was not immediately clear what spurred Thomas' arrest more than two years after the crime.
