Anniversaries

— Laura and Dr. Bert O. Miller of Little Rock will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday with a reception at the couple’s home. The couple were married Nov. 27, 1950. Mrs. Miller, the former Laura Frances Bogan, is an artist. Miller is a retired optometric physician. They are the parents of Sarita Fay Sullivan and Tanya Ruth Bradham, both of Little Rock; Renee Frances Easterwood of Victoria, Texas; and LaBerta Lee Russell of Lake Village. The couple have seven grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren.

Alta and the Rev. Clarence Allison of Little Rock celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Nov. 10, 1950. Mrs. Allison is the former Alta Brasell. Both are retired foreign missionaries for the Southern Baptist Convention. They are the parents of Mark Allison of Maumelle and Kay Maunder of Bahama, N.C. The couple have five grandchildren.

CALE - Margaret and Lamar Barham will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Nov. 22, 1945. Mrs. Barham, the former Margaret Smith, is a retired electrologist. Barham is retired from Auto-Chlor System and as a rancher. They are the parents of Bill David Barham, Mike Barham and Zane Barham, all of Cale. The couple have nine grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.

JUDSONIA - Sue and Bobby McAdams will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Ann’s Bridal & Etc. in Searcy. The couple were married Nov. 24, 1960. Mrs. McAdams, the former Sue Bennett, is retired From White County Medical Center. McAdams is a barber. They are the parents of Jennifer McAdams of Chicago, Donald McAdams of Judsonia and Lana McCabe of Bald Knob. The couple have one grandchild.

HOT SPRINGS - Betty and Norman Stark will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 28 at Hot Springs Baptist Church. The couple were married Nov. 24, 1960. Mrs. Stark, the former Betty Ann Rigg, retired as an art teacher at Hot Springs High School and from the Arkansas Department of Education in Little Rock. Stark is retired from Arkansas Air National Guard. They are the parents of Kathy Hopper of Hot Springs and David Stark of Knoxville, Tenn. The couple have nine grandchildren.

Bettye and Joe Overton of Jacksonville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Branson with their son and grandchildren. The couple were married Nov. 20, 1960. Mrs. Overton, the former Bettye Crabtree, is a teacher with the Little Rock Adult Education Center. Overton is retired. They are the parents of Joe Overton Jr. of West Fork. The couple have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

LESLIE - Sally and Aaron Wilson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a tour including visits to Lake Conroe and Columbus, Texas, ending in San Antonio, with a dinner cruise with family and original wedding party members. The couple were married Nov. 10, 1960. Mrs. Wilson, the former Sally Jo Seeger, is a teacher. Wilson is employed with Mobil Oil. They are the parents of Aaron Bailey Wilson Jr. of Midland, Texas, and Susan Pendleton of Plano, Texas. The couple have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

BENTON - Barbara and Ray King celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Branson. The couple were married Nov. 12, 1960. Mrs. King, the former Barbara Ward, is a retired floral designer. King is retired from Alcoa. They are the parents of Mia Dixon of Benton, Doug King of Alexander and the late Lance King. The couple have 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

MALVERN - Ruth and Frank Perry will celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Nov. 24, 1951. Mrs. Perry, the former Ruth E. Bledsoe, is a retired accountant. Perry retired from law enforcement. They are the parents of Denise Morton of Hot Springs and Karen Perry of Desert Hot Springs, Calif. The couple have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

MOUNT PLEASANT - Dee and Bob Webb will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a cruise in the spring. The couple were married Nov. 19, 1960. Mrs. Webb is the former Dee Twilley and a retired English teacher. Webb retired from Boeing Aircraft. They are the parents of Sabra Estes of Cave City and Julie Aydelotte of Mount Pleasant. The couple have three grandchildren.

Owreta and James B. Turner Jr. of Little Rock will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Nov. 27, 1955. Mrs. Turner, the former Owreta Fay Patton, retired from the state Department of Finance and Administration. Turner is pastor of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church.
