WEDDINGS AMANDA DELL MCHAN JEFFREY ALLEN YATES

— The Albert Pike Hotel was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, for the marriage of Amanda Dell McHan and Jeffrey Allen Yates. The Rev. Linda Kline officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dell McHan Lemon of El Dorado and George Thomas McHan of Bartlett, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of Elizabeth McHan and the late Alvin McHan of Lake Village and the late Jennie and Dizzy Gilleland of Camden.

The bridegroom is the son of Diane Yates of Cabot and Sammy Yates of Ecuador. He is the grandson of Alice and Harold Boerner of Lamar and the late Nancy and Cecil Yates of Idlewild, Tenn.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory chiffon and satin gown. The fitted bodice with a V-neckline and Empire waist was accented with Swarovski crystals, rhinestones and bugle beads, which continued down the back of the gown to the chapel train. She carried a bouquet of cymbidium orchids and deep purple calla lilies.

Jennifer McHan Tate of Little Rock served as her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Baker of Benton, Jennifer Hayes of Pensacola, Fla., and Teresa Grantham of North Little Rock.

They wore deep purple one-shoulder jersey gowns with charmeuse bodices and cascade backs. Their bouquets were filledwith green roses and dark purple stock.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Julia Grace Hayes and Colt Bradley Hayes of Pensacola.

Best man was Steven Yates of Clovis, N.M., brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Brent Haywood of Cabot, Lucas Pointer of Spring, Texas, and Matt McCool of Centerton.

Guests were seated by Colton and Logan Kicklighter of Bartlett, nephews of the bride.

Fall trees decorated with crystal ornaments and multicolored seeded eucalyptus, along with tall arrangements of deep purple calla lilies, white calla lilies and green roses decorated the tables at a reception in the hotel.

The bride has an associate degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a critical care registered nurse at St. Vincent InfirmaryMedical Intensive Care Unit.

The bridegroom graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with a bachelor’s degree in geography. He is a service support management analyst at Hewlett Packard.

After a honeymoon in Branson, the couple will live in Little Rock.
