LITTLE ROCK — A Mena woman was killed Sunday night when the car she was driving hit a guardrail, veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle.
Lois P. Crow, 69, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the 5:43 p.m. accident.
It happened about 5 miles south of Horatio as Crow was driving a Ford Focus north on Highway 41. According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality report, the car hit a guardrail, traveled into the southbound lane and hit a 2006 Nissan truck. Crow was ejected.
The truck driver, identified by police as 64-year-old Tommy Wilkerson of Sulphur Springs, Tx., suffered unspecified injuries and was transported to Wadley Hospital in Texarkana, Tx.
