Hillman wins another term as Sherwood mayor

Sherwood Mayor Virginia Hillman won reelection Tuesday night with 2,374 votes to Alderman Sheila Sulcer's 1,686, according to unofficial results.

On Nov. 2, Hillman received 4,597 votes, shutting out rival Mike Presson, who received 2,196, but triggering a runoff against Sheila Sulcer, who got 2,624.

Hillman, 47, first became mayor through a special election in July 2007.
