Man v. Food host to talk of travels

— Adam Richman, host of the Man v. Food cable television program on the Travel Channel, will speak at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service on Tuesday.

The show is about Richman’s travels across the country, sampling American cuisine. At the Clinton School, he will talk about what he’s learned, which is the topic of his book, America the Edible: Why We Eat, What We Eat, Where We Eat. The book explores the ethnic, economic and cultural factors that shape people’s eating habits and how food reflects American culture.

Richman’s appearance at the Clinton School is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. at Sturgis Hall, the former Choctaw Railway Station building on the Clinton Presidential Center grounds at 1200 President Clinton Ave. in Little Rock.

Admission is free, and the public may attend, but the school asks attendees to make reservations by e-mailing public programs@clintonschool.uasys.edu or calling (501) 683-5239.
