CALICO ROCK — Sam Nave, a 2011 Calico Rock High School senior, recently completed a stellar rodeo season and received numerous awards in several associations.
Nave was named the 2010 Arkansas High School Rodeo Association Rookie of the Year and was also the 2010 Team Roping Champion and State Finals Champion. Nave qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo in Gillette, Wyo. Nave serves as president of the Arkansas High School Rodeo Association for the 2010-2011 season.
