LITTLE ROCK — Radio thief shoved clerk, police say
North Little Rock police charged a man with robbery after they say he assaulted an employee of the Family Dollar on East Broadway while he was stealing a radio.
Police said they spotted48-year-old Freddie Williams of 1021 E. Washington Ave. standing near the Wings Cafe at 4107 E. Broadway around 7 p.m. Saturday holding the stolen radio.
The clerk who police say Williams pushed identified him and he was arrested.
Williams is facing one count of robbery, public intoxication and loitering.
