Arkansas’ Jerico Nelson dives into the end zone to score on an interception in the fourth quarter Saturday at Fayetteville He was flagged for the leap.

Jerico Nelson, Razorback safety/linebacker, was selected Monday as SEC Defensive Player of the Week, the University of Arkansas announced in a news release.

Nelson's 11 tackles, seven of them solo, helped Arkansas defeat LSU, 31-23, on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium.
