The Little Rock School District Board will hold a special board meeting on Wednesday, December 1, at 6 p.m.
The meeting will be "to consider taking action with respect to the superintendent's employment contract," according to a news release.
The Board voted 4-3 in July against extending Superintendent Linda Watson’s contract by another year. The September School Board election put two new members on the seven-member board.
The Little Rock School Board has met in executive session three times in as many meetings with little explanation to discuss "the employment of a current employee."
Each time, the board has returned to public session only to announce that there would be no action taken and to adjourn the meeting.
