Singer, sax make jazz pair

— Kirk Whalum - eight-time Grammy-nominated jazz saxophonist - and singer Lalah Hathaway will be in Little Rock on Sunday to promote Everything Is Everything: The Music of Donny Hathaway, a tribute CD honoring Hathaway’s late father. The event is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at The Village (formerly the UA Cinema 150), 3901 S. University Ave., Little Rock. The two will perform cuts from the album, released Aug. 31 on Rendezvous Music/Mack Avenue Records. Also performing will be Danyell Phillips, Chari Walker, Russell Mason and Rodney Block and The Real Music Lovers.
