We need to try to attract more industry within the county to increase jobs.

Q: What needs to happen to increase economic development in the county?
One would be out on Interstate 40. The interchange at Arkansas 89 at Lonoke. We’ve been working on it for a long time, and it is going to happen. It will be a big stimulus as far as economic development.
A: What is the most important issue in your campaign?
To continue to move the county forward, which is what we’ve done for the past 10 years.
