Motorists can pay reinstatement fees for a suspended or revoked drivers license online thanks to a new service by the Department of Finance and Administration.

The program will be available through the state's official website, www.arkansas.gov.

Approximately 46,000 drivers pay reinstatement fees and reinstate their driving privileges each year. Once the required suspension period has passed and reinstatement fees have been paid, additional actions may need to be taken to reinstate driving privileges.

Online payments are processed through the state’s Arkansas.gov secure payment portal using a credit or debit card that displays a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover logo.

The service will allow partial payments as well.
