JONESBORO A bail bondsman is charged in Jonesboro with a pair of felonies for waving a gun and threatening to shoot while she chased a man who allegedly skipped out on a sentence.
Police told The Jonesboro Sun that 42-year-old Lisa Gail Sifford is charged with aggravated assault and violation of a law governing the conduct of bail bondsmen.
Residents called police after Sifford and three other people allegedly chased 35-year-old James Michael Raines of Lake City into a Jonesboro apartment. Sifford allegedly went to a window and waved her gun and threatened to fire. She later told investigators she was trying to compensate for her petite build. Sifford it 5-foot-4 and weighs 95 pounds.
Sifford was employed by a bail bond agency in Weiner.
She was released without bond.
