CONWAY — A night of ballroom dancing to the music of a live band will be presented from 7:30- 9:30 p.m. Friday in the fellowship hall at Conway First United Met ho dist C hurch, 1610 Prince St.
The dance will feature The B ob B oyd Sounds of Little Rock. Bob Boyd has been a musical fixture in Arkansas for years as owner of Boyd Music Center in Little Rock. Members of the band are David Higginbotham onacoustic bass; Randy McDonald on drums; Pat Henry on trumpet, trombone and fleugelhorn; and Bob Boyd on piano. All four play and sing music as solos and in harmony. Tunes range from Sinatra to the Four Freshmen and the Modernaires to Stevie Wonder.
The dance is $10 per person and is open to the public.
