LITTLE ROCK — A couple of country music greats will be the headliners at the Legends Balloon Rally at the Hot Springs Municipal Airport this weekend, as reported in Thursday’s Arkansas Weekend section. Clint Black and The Charlie Daniels Band present concerts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, respectively. The hot-air balloon portion of the celebration includes fly-outs at 5:30 p.m. and balloon glows at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and a competition flight at 7:15 a.m. Saturday. Admission is free.
On Sunday, Grammy Award-winning country singer LeAnn Rimes will perform in support of her new album of country covers, titled Lady and Gentlemen, at 4 p.m. in the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas, 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway. Tickets are $40-$50, $37-$47 for senior citizens, with discounts for UCA alumni, faculty, staff and students with a current student I.D.
Music for young fans will be featured when Mickey Mouse and Disney friends Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Cinderella, Tigger and Toy Story characters Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear conduct a talent search of sorts in Disney Live! Mickey’s Rockin’ Road Show!, 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Friday at North Little Rock’s Verizon Arena. Tickets are $15.75-$52.75 plus handling fees.
