— HOT SPOTS1. ARKANSAS RIVER (MORRILTON) Catfishing is good in the main channel using whole shad fished 15-30 feet deep. Spotted bass are biting well around jetties and current breaks on Flukes. Bream are biting well on crickets in the creeks. Crappie are biting well on minnows fished around wood. White bass are biting well on chatter baits fished around jetties and current breaks. Stripers are biting well on live shad floated about 10-15 feet deep around creek mouths.

2. GREERS FERRY Crappie are biting well over

brush piles 15-20 feet deep on jigs and minnows. Catfish are being caught all over the lake on live and cut bait. Bass fishing is good with all species hitting Rat-L-Traps, small crankbaits and spinnerbaits around shallow wood cover. Bream are biting well on worms, crickets and small fly-fishing flies. Walleye are holding 23-32 feet deep and are biting fairly well on

jighead worms, suspended crankbaits and spoons.

3. LAKE HINKLE Bream are biting well on worms and crickets near the bank. Crappie are biting well on minnows. Bass are biting well on spinnerbaits and topwater lures. Catfishing is excellent on night crawlers, chicken livers and live bream or minnows. 4. MILLWOOD LAKE The bass bite is good with the cooler nighttime

temperatures. Most bass are concentrating near almost any major creek junction with Little River and can be caught on crankbaits, Rat-L-Traps,

Shad Assassins and swimming Turbo Shads. Crappie continue to improve

with reduced current and improved water clarity. Catfish are being caught on

trotlines in Little River and yo-yos hung from cypress tree branches in 8-9 feet of water, baited with blood bait, cut shad and catalpa worms.

5. LAKE OUACHITA Largemouth bass are biting well on Texas-rigged worms, football jigs and creature baits. Walleye are biting well on spoons. Stripers are being caught on live bait and downrigged hair jigs. Bream fishing is good using worms or crickets in 15-25 feet of water. Crappie are near brush in water 20-30 feet deep on minnows or crappie grubs. Catfish are good and are being caught on cut bait and live bait on jug lines and trotlines.
