Lanes set to close on U.S. 70 bridge

BRASFIELD — Crews conducting a routine inspection of a bridge on U.S. 70 at the Prairie/Monroe County line will require a lane closure next week, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

The inspection, on a bridge over the Cache River, will require a lane closure alternating between the eastbound and westbound lanes Tuesday. The lane closure will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m., weather permitting, the department said.
