LITTLE ROCK — Authorities have recovered the body of a 41-year-old man who drowned in a Garland County lake Thursday night.
Police received word around 10:15 p.m. that David Reid had jumped into a lake at 110 Colbreath Point and had not resurfaced, according to a news release from the Garland County Sheriff's Office.
About an hour later, volunteer divers from the Piney Fire Department located Reid's body in waters about 20 feet from the dock he had jumped in from.
The drowning is believed to be accidental and no foul play is suspected.
