LITTLE ROCK — A 52-year-old Sheridan woman was killed Thursday when the vehicle she was driving swerved off the road and crashed into a tree.
Deborah Thornburg died in the wreck, which happened about 3 p.m. on State Highway 46 north of Red Street in Sheridan.
According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Thornburg was driving a 2001 Dodge vehicle south on the highway when it veered off the road to the right, swerved back across the highway and crashed off to the left. The vehicle then traveled into a yard and struck the tree.
