Outside groups spent $446,574 against Lt. Gov. Bill Halter, a Democrat, in his unsuccessful challenge in the Arkansas U.S. Senate race, according to the Sunlight Foundation, a Washington group that advocates openness in government. The wrong figure was used in an article in Friday’s newspaper about campaign funding.

Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., did not attend a fundraising event for her that was held in Boston on Wednesday. A story in Thursday’s paper incorrectly reported that Lincoln had traveled to Boston after meeting Wednesday with members of the Mississippi Delta Grassroots Caucus.
