$7.8 million goes to boost broadband in Arkansas

Connect Arkansas will receive $7,796,866 in Recovery Act funds to improve broadband connectivity in Arkansas, U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln's office announced Tuesday.

The U.S. Department of Commerce funding will go to the nonprofit Connect Arkansas, which is leading a community-based initiative to promote Internet access and education, the release said.
