FORT SMITH — A shooting near the main gate at the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair in Fort Smith has left two people wounded.
Police Sgt. Daniel Grubbs told KHBS-KHOG that a female was shot in the back and a carnival worker was hit in the leg in the shooting Monday night. The names, ages and condition of the two were not released.
Grubbs says the shooting was about 60 feet from the main entrance to the fair and witnesses reported seeing two men with guns.
No arrests have been made.
