LITTLE ROCK — Acoustic guitarist Doyle Dykes, known for a wide range of musical styles, will present a concert and workshop at 7 p.m. today at Little Rock Jams in Breckenridge Village Shopping Center, 10301 Rodney Parham Road.
Dykes’ music shows the influence of such disparate performers as Chet Atkins and Duane Eddy. He has performed with Atkins and Eddy as well as Les Paul, Tommy Emmanuel, Peter Frampton, John Fogerty and Vince Gill. The most recent of his eight albums is 2008’s Bridging the Gap. He has designed a signature guitar for Taylor Guitars.
