HARRIET — A Poplar Bluff, Mo., motorcyclist was killed Monday when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck a tree on a rural Searcy County highway, the Arkansas State Police said.
Dana Mansbridge, 54, was on a 2009 Harley-Davidson and headed west on Arkansas 14 about 10 miles west of Harriet when the crash occurred.
Cathy Mansbridge 53, also of Poplar Bluff and a passenger aboard the motorcycle, was hurt, police said. She was taken to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Medical Center in Little Rock, where she was listed in fair condition on Tuesday, a hospital spokesman said.
