RUSSELLVILLE — The Pope County Literacy Council Board of Directors announced that the Pope County Literacy Council merged with the Yell County Literacy Council to become the River Valley Literacy Council serving Pope, Yell and Johnson counties on Aug. 30.
Only the name has changed. All services and classes will continue as normal.
The main office will be in Russellville at the Gardner Building with the office in the Arkansas River Valley Regional Library — Dardanelle being a satellite location.
