East Poinsett County guard Rashad "Ky" Madden verbally committed to play basketball at the University of Arkansas on Wednesday.
Madden made the announcement at a press conference at his high school in Lepanto. He is the third of a talented trio of in-state basketball recruits to pledge to play for Arkansas coach John Pelphrey, joining Little Rock Parkview small forward Aaron Ross and Jonesboro Westside forward/center Hunter Mickelson.
All three are rated as 4-star prospects by Scout.com.
Verbal commitments are non-binding.
