Special events abound at Designer House

— The Conway Symphony Designer House will open for a special evening event, Ladies Night Out and Art Exhibit, from 6-8 p.m. Monday. Tickets are $20 and include food from Hospitality Sponsor Panera Bread, wine, a tour of the Designer House and an exhibit featuring more than 20 artists. Barry Thomas of Little Rock will do a quick study of a live model during the evening, with demonstrations at 6:30 and 7:30. Additional participating artists are Debbie Green, Steve Griffith, Gene Hatfield, Caroline Hansen, V. Noe, Sheila Parsons, Susan Peterson, Ginger Potter, Finton Shaw and Drew Smith.

Artists representing Pictures, Etc. are Barry Thomas, Arden Boyce, Bill Garrison, Bonnie McKay, Heather Mainord, Maura Weir, Bill Ward, Cheryl Payne, Gloria Garrison, Mark James, Jason Huselton and Jean Turley.

The Designer House is coordinated by the Conway Symphony Orchestra Guild, and funds raised through the event will be used to support the symphony’s educational and outreach programs, including the CSO in the Classroom program in local schools, a free community concert and partnerships with several area nonprofits, including Boys & Girls Clubs and Independent Living Services.
