U.S. 67/167 work to shift lane traffic

LITTLE ROCK — Crews working on the widening of U.S. 67/167 between Sherwood and Jacksonville will shift southbound traffic from the old lanes to newly constructed lanes beginning Thursday evening, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

Shifting southbound traffic to the new lanes will require the outside lane to be closed south of Jacksonville beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday and continuing until 6 a.m. Friday, weather permitting.
